The document Liber Iudicum Turritanorum reports some news about the foundation of the palatine chapel of Santa Maria del Regno of Ardara. This source mentions Donna Giorgia, sister of Comita, sovereign of Torres, as promoter of the building of the palatine church of Santa Maria del Regno, sited in proximity of a castle that has left but a few traces in the lower courses.
